guts is just the best character ever
Man oh man. Decided to re-read Berserk and I’m still at the first arch and the difference in the art is really huge. There’s still a big amount of effort in it, but Guts’ face alone is allot less angular and there are little anatomical mistakes here and there that look weird, but Miura really became better at everything as it went on. Also, Puck is disturbingly naked looking. He looks like a nude child running around and it’s creepy as hell. Man, I’m glad I stuck with it because the early chapters are pretty bad.
